Job Summary: An importer and distributor of steel is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader to supervise and optimize merchandise management, inventory control, and team performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leads and supervises merchandise conditioning operations. 2. Manages inventories and ensures stock accuracy. 3. Optimizes warehouse space utilization and team productivity. A steel importing and trading company is currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader Work Location: Callao Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with availability for overtime, night shifts, and weekends. Work Modality: On-site Formal employment with all statutory benefits (General Regime) Requirements: Completed secondary education. Desirable: Training in good warehousing practices. Experience operating forklifts. Two years of operational work experience. Main Responsibilities: Execute and supervise merchandise conditioning activities (receiving, inspection, counting, sampling, labeling, storage, and dispatch), adhering to established procedures. Manage inventories (daily and cycle counts), ensuring stock accuracy and preventing claims. Inspect merchandise condition and quality, identifying and reporting defective or non-conforming items. Coordinate and ensure proper preparation, receiving, and dispatch of merchandise according to documentation (delivery notes, invoices, and orders). Organize, direct, and supervise the workforce, promoting productivity, efficiency, and a positive work environment. Optimize warehouse space usage (organization, slotting, BPAs, and storage). Coordinate import receipt operations, managing required resources (space, personnel, and equipment). Supervise compliance with BPAs, organization, cleanliness, and safety conditions in the warehouse. Manage operational incidents and promptly report them to the supervisor. Monitor appropriate use of equipment, machinery, tools, and traffic flow within maneuver zones.
