Lead and train teams, promoting safety and productivity **PLANT MANAGER – LIMA/SURQUILLO.** We are looking for top talent to fill the Plant Manager position at our plant in Lima \- Surquillo. **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring compliance with the production plan, quality and food safety standards, personnel safety, and operational efficiency. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise sweet and savory production lines to ensure proper manufacturing. * Coordinate shifts and operational teams. * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and occupational safety requirements. * Monitor yield loss and production yields. * Coordinate maintenance and internal supply logistics. * Report incidents and propose improvements. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity. * Lead and train the operational team, fostering a work environment focused on industrial safety and productivity. * Coordinate preventive maintenance plans for specialized machinery to avoid unplanned downtime. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Degree or professional license in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience or more leading operations in food production plants. * Experience managing GMP, HACCP, and safety processes. * Experience managing authorizations. * Solid experience/knowledge of industrial baking and pastry processes (sweet and savory lines) (desirable but not mandatory). * Experience in food quality and safety control. * Proficiency in operational KPIs: yield, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield loss, rework, productivity, and cycle times. * Inventory control of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. * Knowledge of production costing and variance analysis. * Participation in internal and external sanitary audits. * Intermediate/advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills for operational control. * Operational leadership and results orientation.
