Ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations JOB OPENING QUALITY CONTROL AND OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY OFFICER We are currently seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Quality Control and Occupational Safety Officer on a full-time basis. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS \- Bachelor's or professional degree in Engineering or Architecture. \- Demonstrable work experience of: \- Five (5\) years as Site Manager and/or Production Manager; or \- Three (3\) years of experience in Quality Control or as a Supervisor. \- Experience must be related to projects involving: \- Rehabilitation. \- Maintenance. \- Conditioning. \- Implementation. \- Improvement. \- Adaptation. \- Remodeling. \- Construction of similar projects. \- Certificates and/or documentation verifying training and/or a diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. \- Availability for full-time employment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Control \- Supervise and verify that executed works comply with technical specifications, drawings, and requirements established for the project. \- Conduct ongoing inspections during work execution. \- Verify the quality of materials, equipment, and procedures used on site. \- Identify, record, and report observations or non-conformities detected during work execution. \- Coordinate with site personnel to correct and resolve observations. \- Prepare and maintain up-to-date quality control records, reports, and documentation. \- Verify compliance with established construction procedures. \- Participate in acceptance and sign-off of completed works. Occupational Safety and Health \- Supervise compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations and procedures during project execution. \- Verify proper and mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). \- Conduct safety inspections across various work areas. \- Identify unsafe conditions and acts, proposing preventive and corrective measures. \- Coordinate and deliver safety talks, training sessions, and/or inductions for personnel. \- Prepare and maintain up-to-date occupational safety and health records. \- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and risk situations, as applicable. \- Supervise compliance with established safety protocols and preventive measures on site. \- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, Supervisor, and other project stakeholders to implement necessary actions ensuring safe working conditions. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION \- Documented Curriculum Vitae. \- Copy of professional degree or bachelor's degree certificate. \- Certificates and/or documents verifying required work experience. \- Certificates and/or documentation verifying training and/or a diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. \- Documentation supporting experience on similar projects. POSITION CONDITIONS \- Position: Quality Control and Occupational Safety Officer. \- Employment Type: Full-time. \- Availability: Immediate, preferably. \- Work Location: As per project or site location.
