Purpose of the Position Execute sports coordination for one or more disciplines or venues, ensuring adherence to rules, schedules, and operational standards during training and competitions. Main Functions and Responsibilities · Coordinate match/test scheduling, time slot management, and venue usage at your venue or discipline. · Verify minimum field/competition zone conditions and implement pre\-shift checklists. · Coordinate with referees/judges, control desks, and support staff for shift start-up and closure. · Manage operational communication with delegates and representatives: schedules, call-ups, authorized changes, and agreements. · Consolidate attendance sheets, results, and daily reports; ensure signatures and archiving. · Escalate technical, disciplinary, or logistical incidents to the appropriate department (Operations/Justice/Health). · Support award ceremonies and sports protocols in coordination with Protocol and Communications. Key Coordination Areas · Operations, Accreditation, Security, and Health at the venue. · Delegates and technical teams from participating universities. Minimum Requirements · Degree in Physical Education, Sports Sciences, Sports Management, or related fields. · Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating competitions; multi-sport experience preferred. · Ability to work on-site and manage audiences/delegations. · Availability for travel, extended shifts, and high-pressure work environments. Desirable Technical Knowledge · Competition rules and regulations; attendance sheet and reporting control. · Proficiency with digital tools for data entry (Excel, online forms, apps). · Basic safety and first aid protocols (fundamental knowledge).
