**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide technical leadership on geotechnical projects and tasks, including development and implementation of geotechnical field and laboratory programs.
* Execute design of tailings storage facilities, leach pads, and waste rock dumps—from conceptual stages through detailed design.
* Develop and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
* Collaborate with other WSP personnel in client development.
* Coordinate with other professionals and technical staff.
* Prepare proposals and design work packages in response to client needs.
* Manage projects according to client-approved scopes of work and deliver high-quality reports on time and within budget.
* Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety in assigned activities, among others.
**Professional Background:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related disciplines.
* Master’s degree and/or diploma in Geotechnics or related fields is desirable.
* Minimum of 9 years of overall experience.
* Experience applying geotechnical engineering to problem-solving is desirable.
* Familiarity with GISTM, CDA, ICOLD standards and Peruvian regulations is desirable.
* Proficiency in software such as Slide 2D and Slope is desirable.
* Strong technical writing skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Solid interpersonal communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
