As leaders in innovation and technological development, we seek experts to drive sustainable development and find solutions to the world’s greatest challenges, such as global warming, overpopulation, and water scarcity.** **Job Description** **ACCIONA**, within its **INDUSTRIAL** business unit, requires a Social Manager for the startup and contractual execution of the new Transmission Line and Associated Substation project located between the departments of Cajamarca and Amazonas. **Mission:** * Ensure appropriate social management of the project through effective implementation of the Social Management Plan (SMP), including community engagement strategies, communication mechanisms, complaint and grievance management, and fulfillment of IGA commitments during the construction phase—all aimed at facilitating land release through social acceptance and ensuring project operational continuity, in alignment with ACCIONA’s policies and commitments. * Propose and implement actions with stakeholders to appropriately manage social impact in the project’s area of influence, ensuring timely and sustainable engagement. **Candidate Requirements** **Responsibilities:** * Implement the project’s Social Management Plan (SMP). * Monitor compliance with approved IGA commitments during the construction phase. * Develop and update stakeholder mapping, stakeholder analysis, and identification of social risks. * Plan and execute strategies aimed at achieving social license for the project, including organizing informational meetings, workshops, and other citizen participation activities. * Manage engagement with local authorities, communities, and other key stakeholders within the Direct Area of Influence (DAI). * Lead resolution of potential social conflicts, ensuring continuity of project activities. * Design and implement social communication strategies and plans before, during, and after construction works. * Prepare and disseminate informational materials (notices, press releases, bulletins, fact sheets) as needed. * Administer communication mechanisms and maintain up-to-date records of interactions with social stakeholders. * Manage the project’s Consultation, Complaint, and Grievance Mechanism, ensuring proper registration, response, and follow-up. * Monitor compliance with social commitments, maintaining documented traceability and promptly alerting on deviations or risks. * Identify social risks and propose prevention and mitigation measures. * Participate in internal coordination meetings for project planning and monitoring. * Promote good-neighborliness and harmonious coexistence in intervention zones. * Train and raise awareness among internal staff and subcontractors on social issues and community engagement. * Supervise appropriate social management by subcontractors in the field. * Perform other duties inherent to the position, aligned with project objectives. **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Law, Sociology, or related fields. * Postgraduate diploma or courses in Conflict Management, Social Management, or related areas. **Experience** * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in social management and land acquisition for linear infrastructure projects (transmission lines, energy, highways, etc.). * Experience in community engagement and social conflict management. * Knowledge of land-related matters (non-exclusive). * Experience working with peasant or indigenous communities is desirable (depending on the project’s area of influence). **Additional Knowledge** * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite * Ability to read KMZ files **Location:** * Willingness to work under non-standard arrangements in the departments of Amazonas and Cajamarca. **Soft Skills:** * Effective oral and written communication * Empathy and relationship orientation * Technical analysis and problem-solving ability * Proactivity, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration * Capacity for effective communication and information handling to support decision-making ACCIONA has received the Top Employer certification for 2024 and 2025.
