**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supervise installation, assembly, alignment, and release of mechanical equipment, piping, valves, and structural steelwork in accordance with approved IFC drawings and isometrics.
* Verify welding and thermofusion (HDPE/steel) processes, ensuring compliance with WPS, PQR, and welder qualification requirements.
* Validate materials and equipment through certificates (MTR, data sheets), ensuring correct identification, traceability, and storage.
* Supervise and validate non-destructive testing (RT, UT, LP, PM), hydrostatic tests, pressure tests, and operational tests.
* Participate in critical tests and ensure compliance with frequencies established in the ITP/PPI.
* Verify that inspection and test results meet acceptance criteria (ASME, API, ASTM, or other applicable standards).
* Develop, review, and validate inspection and test protocols, ensuring documentation of technical and photographic evidence.
* Ensure traceability of welds, joints, and installed mechanical components.
* Verify use of current drawings and documents, as well as proper management of Red Line and As\-Built records.
* Record quality information (protocols, tests, SVR, NCR) in project platforms (e.g., SPF).
* Issue SVRs for deviation risks and NCRs for non-conformances, tracking them to effective closure.
* Verify implementation of corrective actions by the Contractor.
* Coordinate with CQC, NDT, laboratory, and supervision teams for mechanical system releases (test packs).
* Participate in technical meetings and provide support on RFIs and IDTs in coordination with engineering and the client.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality assurance reports and frontline performance indicators.
* Verify compliance with SSOMA, ensuring critical controls for hot work, lifting operations, and pressure tests (IPERC, PETS).
* Consolidate information for final project reporting and closure (pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final TOP).
* Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety in assigned activities, among others.
**Professional Background:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in similar CQA roles for supervision and/or construction of mining projects (concrete, soils and/or earthworks, mechanical works, electrical works, electromechanical works).
* Preferred: Diploma and/or specialization and/or courses in quality management and/or construction project management and/or related topics.
* Preferred: Knowledge of quality and soil mechanics standards, and ASTM and/or NTP standards related to tests performed on the Project.
* Availability to work under project-based employment regime in Huaraz.
