At **VML Peru**, we are looking for top talent to join our team in the position of **Art Director \- Freelance.** **Description:** Serve as the guardian of the visual experience and brand building, primarily focused on secondary accounts, to strengthen brands and achieve established objectives. **Responsibilities:** * Propose and develop creative strategies to strengthen brands based on client objectives. * Identify opportunities for the art team to foster its growth, learning, and continuity of responsibilities. * Design and establish visual guidelines enabling the team to develop or execute required graphic assets for tactical and strategic campaigns. * Brief vendors according to client requirements to meet brand objectives. * Participate in all stages of campaign development (briefing, strategy, creation, and development) to make each request clearer, simpler, and more engaging. * Maintain general knowledge of artistic disciplines—including illustration, motion, editing, graphic design, digital design, photography, UX, etc.—within the team and across brands. * Guide the account team through the brand’s visual process and development to reinforce client relationships. * Define and manage appropriate assets for campaigns. * Participate in briefing sessions and support the account team in presenting ideas to the client. * Visualize and conceptualize campaigns across all media alongside the Creative Director. * Stay current with the latest advertising and technological trends. * Supervise and approve color proofs during final art production. * Report to the Creative Director on campaign development for brands, projects, and pitches. * Train the team on the account’s brand guidelines. * Provide feedback to Junior and Senior Designers. **Requirements:** * Graduate in Graphic Design, Advertising, Communications, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in campaign creation and direction. * Experience leading teams and maintaining strong client relationships. * Knowledge of animation, illustration, digital art, ATL, editing, motion, photography, HTML. * Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe XD, and Sketch. * Advanced English, both spoken and written. (Desirable) * Knowledge of AI applications for art and design. * Availability to work in a hybrid model. * Availability for temporary employment.
