Join Us Requirements: **Work Experience** * **General Experience:** Minimum 4–5 years in the consulting or civil works construction sector. * **Specific Experience:** At least 3 years designing water networks, drainage systems, channels, riverbank protections, or dams. **Specific Responsibilities** * **Hydrological Analysis:** Determine design flows based on historical rainfall data to prevent overflows. * Conduct software simulations to predict flooding or river behavior during storms. * Validate pressures and velocities in pipe networks to avoid ruptures or supply shortages. * **Scour Analysis:** Calculate how much water may “scour” beneath bridge foundations to propose protective measures. * Review and approve hydraulic drawings and calculation memoranda. * Provide on-site technical support for installation of valves, specialty pipes, or control structures. * Prepare technical reports for obtaining water authority permits. * **Network Design:** Size pipes, pumping stations, and storage tanks for potable water or irrigation. * **Drainage Systems:** Design ditches, culverts, and stormwater evacuation systems for roads or urban areas. **Academic Qualifications** * **Education Level:** Civil Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, or Fluids Engineer (licensed and registered with professional association). * Postgraduate diploma or Master’s degree in Hydraulics, Hydrology, or Water Resources Management. * AutoCAD Civil 3D (for hydraulic profiles and sections).
