Being part of a multinational company Performance Assurance Mining Engineer Posting Start Date: 4/20/26 Job Location (Short): Lima, PER, Requisition ID: 35677 Onsite or Remote: Hybrid Position . ### **The Company** Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions, a global leader in mining management technology and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd, is seeking a new Performance Assurance Mining Engineer for its Lima, Peru office. ### **Position Purpose** To provide practical support for Modular products, focused on continuous improvement activities carried out by the Performance Assurance Team. ### **Travel Requirement** 50% on\-site travel ### **Key Responsibilities** * Ongoing planning of field visits to various customers. * Preparation of biweekly and monthly internal reports and customer-facing reports. * Data analysis aimed at identifying improvement opportunities. * Providing feedback to the visited site to develop an action plan and corresponding reports. * Providing guidance regarding tasks performed with the team. * Mandatory 50% on\-site travel (mining operations above 3,000 m above sea level). * Compliance with duties outlined in the RISST and recommendations for remote and in-person work. * Proper use of machinery, equipment, tools, and transportation units. * Adherence to established standards, PETS, and safe work practices. * Conducting hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of control measures specified in PETS, PETAR, ATS, Internal Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, and other applicable documents at the start of each work shift, prior to entering high-risk zones, and before commencing any activity posing risks to physical integrity and health. ### **Required Competencies** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field is mandatory. * 3\-5 years of experience in consulting and/or mining operations, preferably open-pit mining. * Experience in short-term planning, surveying, dispatching, or related areas. * Experience using IntelliMine products in mining operations is advantageous. * Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Tableau / Power BI / Minitab. * Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques/tools. * Customer service experience. * Intermediate level of English language proficiency (spoken and written). **What We Offer?** * Opportunity to join a multinational company with a competitive salary. * Benefits in accordance with local law. * A pleasant working environment where you can develop your potential. * 100% covered private health insurance
