Position Summary: Coordinate and supervise field hydrogeological work, process data, develop conceptual and numerical models, and prepare technical reports in the mining sector. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in supervising field hydrogeological work. 2. Proficiency in specialized software (FEFLOW, Leapfrog, ArcGIS, QGIS). 3. Development of conceptual and numerical hydrogeological models. An opportunity has currently arisen to join AtkinsRéalis as an Intermediate Hydrogeologist within the Minerals and Metals Division. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise fieldwork for collecting hydrogeological data, including borehole logs, hydraulic tests, hydrogeological mapping, spring inventories, piezometric level monitoring, and groundwater quality monitoring. * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during field services. * Process and analyze hydrogeological data. * Develop conceptual models. * Prepare geological cross-sections and Leapfrog geological models under the review of a Senior Specialist. * Prepare and present technical reports; draft hydrogeological sections for environmental management instruments and engineering projects under the supervision of a Senior Specialist. * Participate in meetings with project managers. * Develop numerical models in FEFLOW under the supervision of a Senior Specialist. **Requirements:** * Academic Qualification: Professional degree in Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related fields. * Software Proficiency: FEFLOW, Leapfrog, ArcGIS, QGIS, database management, and other discipline-specific software. * Knowledge of Python or VBA (Desirable) * English Language Level: Intermediate. * Demonstrated ability to write technical reports. * Familiarity with environmental regulations (Desirable). * Minimum of 8 years’ general experience in the mining sector and consulting. **Process:** * Applications are accepted exclusively through our corporate careers portal; applications submitted via other channels will not be considered. * We contact only shortlisted candidates for interviews. * Relocation expenses are not covered.
