We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping provide the energy, chemicals, and resources needed today. **Position Objective:** Accountable to the Discipline Manager (DM) for the Mechanical\-Piping discipline and to the Project Execution Manager (PEM) for all committed scope of work under execution within the assigned project. **Key Responsibilities:** * May manage the discipline team assigned to the project from both technical and personnel perspectives. Must coordinate discipline plans, contractual technical agreements, piping discipline progress, activities, and project milestones in accordance with Worley’s established and approved policies, procedures, systems, and requirements. * Supervises personnel assigned to the piping discipline regarding performance, inductions, training, vacation control, contract renewals, as well as requests for additional personnel to the Mechanical\-Piping DM according to project needs. * Estimates effort required by the team (by role profile) to execute project scope, controls assigned work hours (WH), and manages them. * Participates in technical/commercial proposals, understanding the scope and estimating required effort to fulfill a specific service requested by the client. * Develops Value Engineering in accordance with criteria set by the Mechanical\-Piping DM, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager, depending on project scope and client needs. * Responsible for quality of piping discipline deliverables on the project, scope compliance, and ensuring a sustainable and sustainable design. * In-depth knowledge of advanced theories, techniques, and practices of the piping discipline. * Thorough knowledge of applicable industry regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and standard practices relevant to control, development, and application of piping discipline deliverables. * Supervises the discipline on one medium-sized or several small projects. * Knowledge of piping design software. * Experience across various engineering study phases (Profile, Conceptual, Pre-feasibility, Feasibility, Detail), desirable in Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Operations. * Proposes and meets efficient and realistic deadlines for study production. * Coordinates professionally and collaboratively with other disciplines, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure project success. * Responsible for compliance with Worley’s Quality Assurance System and HSE System in assigned engineering production. Meets and ensures that the project’s piping discipline team meets the agreed schedule, deliverables, and deadlines. * **What will you bring?** **Software, processes, and tools:** **Specific Knowledge:** Mechanical Engineering. Senior-level position requiring advanced expertise and extensive specialized experience enabling mastery of one or more broader areas of specialty, products, and systems. Also capable of leading small groups on projects or teams. Experience and knowledge across various engineering study phases (Pre-feasibility, Feasibility, and Detail). **Specific Experience:** Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 8 years in a similar role. Strong foundation in mining processes from a piping perspective and deep knowledge of industry regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and standard practices. Experience in underground mining projects. Expertise in project cost estimation and proposal writing. Training in risk or quality management. Leadership of the piping discipline and teamwork on multidisciplinary engineering projects, with emphasis on Detailed Engineering, Construction Support, Pre\-Commissioning, and Commissioning. Participation in at least two EPCM or EPC projects, each exceeding nine months. Participation in Open Pit and Underground Mining Projects. Experience in interdisciplinary mining projects (interaction with other disciplines: Mining, Geology, Geotechnics, Processes, Mechanical, Civil, Piping, Instrumentation, Architecture, etc.). Experience in copper, gold, silver, lead, zinc, iron, and lithium mining projects. Focus on design safety. Experience in preparing mine CAPEX and OPEX estimates. Experience in preparing technical reports: design criteria, operational philosophy, general layouts and schematics, sizing of mining equipment, technical reports, investment and operational cost estimates. **Academic Qualifications, Accreditations, Training:** A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, with active registration with the Peruvian College of Engineers (\#CIP). A Master’s degree in Project Management or a related field is desirable. Training in leadership and project execution is required. Authorization by a local engineering regulatory body is required where mandated by law. **HSE Skills:** Actively promotes behaviors aligned with our LIFE value and applicable HSE policies for the discipline. Assumes practical management and implementation of all relevant company HSE requirements. Drives safe and sustainable engineering outcomes across asset lifecycles through SEAL application. Exemplifies commitment to personal wellbeing and adopts a proactive approach to continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance. **IT Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to navigate intranet pages, perform searches, and retrieve information. Ability to organize information from diverse sources and retain it per prescribed format and policies. Knowledge of electrical design, planning, and simulation software. Proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint is desirable. Ability to write correctly in Spanish. Proficiency in specialized engineering or design, analysis and modeling tools, and data-centric multidisciplinary methods. **Location:** Lima, hybrid.
