Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable internal standards, policies, and procedures. **Requirements**: * University degree preferred in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields * Minimum of 1 year of experience in GCM, Derivatives, or related teams * Preferred: BCR Extension Course, CFA, FRM, or similar certification * Specific knowledge: + Capital markets knowledge + Financial mathematics (intermediate level) + Derivatives knowledge * Computer skills: + Outlook (advanced level) + MS Office (advanced level) + Bloomberg * Languages: English (advanced) **Responsibilities**: * Promotes a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s extensive client relationships, systems, and expertise. * Interacts with and supports commercial areas (e.g., corporate banking, sales) to identify potential business opportunities within their client portfolios and implements them. * Continuously monitors variables affecting the derivatives market (e.g., interest rates, exchange rates) to identify business opportunities. * Ensures all required documentation is executed timely, with high service quality and accuracy. * Supports the Credit Solutions team in preparing approval documents (1035\) for credit facility submissions. * Assists Credit and GRM teams with questions regarding derivatives transactions. * Ensures procedures comply with BNS policies. * Implements the appropriate communication channel to disseminate information related to derivatives products, ensuring it reaches all stakeholders. * Ensures effective planning, execution, control, supervision, and reporting of operations and team members—assigning tasks and responsibilities appropriately across the team. * Understands the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Actively conducts efficient and effective operations within respective areas while ensuring the suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to meet obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities established under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines.
