Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer for a technology transformation project in the banking sector, designing and developing applications and REST APIs. Key Highlights: 1. At **SYNOPSIS**, we are looking for a **Senior Backend Developer** to join an important technology transformation project with a client in the **Banking** sector. **Location:** Lima, Peru **Work Mode:** Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) **What will you do?** * Design and develop backend applications using Java. * Implement microservices-based solutions. * Design and integrate REST APIs with internal systems and external providers. * Participate in technical analysis and requirement estimation. * Implement security, quality, and performance best practices. * Develop unit tests and conduct code reviews. * Integrate solutions with messaging platforms and event-driven architectures. * Actively participate in agile teams under Scrum/Kanban. **Requirements** * 6+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or Developer Analyst. * Solid experience in **Java (8, 11, 17 or 21\)**. * Proven experience with **Quarkus**. * Experience with **Spring Framework / Spring Boot**. * Development of **Microservices** and **REST APIs**. * Knowledge of **OAuth2 / JWT**. * Experience with **JUnit and Mockito**. * Proficiency in **Git**. * Experience with databases such as **Redis, DB2 or SQL Server**. * Experience in agile environments. **Nice-to-have experience in:** * Kafka * Kubernetes (GKE) * Docker * Apache Camel * Apigee * JBoss Fuse * Cloud Run * Hexagonal Architecture * Domain Driven Design (DDD) * TDD and Clean Code If you have experience in **Java \+ Quarkus \+ Spring \+ Microservices** and are open to new professional challenges, this opportunity is for you!
