Company Description Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation—one of the world’s largest copper deposits—located in the Moquegua region in southern Peru. Quellaveco has a 30-year reserve life. It will employ open-pit mining and flotation processes to produce copper concentrates, as well as molybdenum and silver as by-products. Quellaveco is expected to produce an average of 300,000 tonnes of copper per year during its first 10 years of operation. Job Description Anglo American is seeking a Compliance Analyst. **Primary Challenge** Anticipate situations and events to avoid integrity risks, identify early warning signs, and support the business’s financial objectives. Actively participate in developing and executing activities under the Compliance Program, Risk Management, and Personal Data Protection through policy and procedure development and analysis, participation in audits and general monitoring, and delivering or participating in training and awareness activities. Implement, maintain, develop, and improve controls and policies related to Anglo American’s Compliance Program. Develop actions enabling early risk detection. Provide technical\-legal support and assistance to Anglo American’s Corporate Compliance team during the update process of the Corporate Management Program (CMP) and other corporate documents (policies, procedures, guidelines, controls, etc.), including participation in meetings and other coordination, monitoring, and recordkeeping activities required by that team. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise the Due Diligence process for suppliers/contractors—including their legal representatives—as well as candidates applying to Anglo American and individuals benefiting from social investment activities, donations, and intermediaries. * Verify that the due diligence process is carried out in accordance with the Due Diligence Procedure. * Participate in designing and implementing Compliance Program awareness activities and campaigns, Risk Management, and monitoring of the Prevention Model \- Law 30424\. * Develop and analyze policies and procedures aligned with the scope of the Compliance Program and respond to internal queries and doubts. Additionally, participate in audit processes, continuous improvement, and monitoring of such policies and procedures. * Deliver and participate in Compliance training workshops, contributing to reducing and/or mitigating business-inherent risks. * Actively participate in updating the Anglo American Group’s Corporate Management Program (CMP), as well as in other reviews and activities required by that team. **SHE Functions and Responsibilities** * Know and apply Anglo American Quellaveco’s SHE values, principles, and policy, and contribute to its vision of zero harm. * Ensure that SHE hazard and risk control measures related to assigned activities are implemented at the workplace to enable safe work performance. * Comply with standards, procedures, and internal regulations of the Management System; and actively participate in training, awareness, and Zero Harm culture-building meetings. * Promptly report unsafe acts and conditions, as well as incidents. Requirements **Academic Qualifications and Language** * Professional degree in Administration, Law, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a qualified professional in a related discipline. * Intermediate or advanced English (spoken and written). **Professional Experience** * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in assistant- or analyst-level positions within relevant organizations. * Experience in Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, or Internal Control. * Experience identifying process and compliance improvement opportunities. * Experience managing compliance with policies and procedures. * Experience delivering Compliance training. **SHE Competencies** * Ability to recognize SHE hazards and risks associated with one’s activities, as well as to identify effective controls already implemented.
