Continuous learning opportunities and global development We are seeking an HSE Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) training programs and courses at facilities (Plant: Production and Logistics & Service Operations) or units where Metso Perú S.A. provides services. What You Will Do Identify operational teams’ training needs in Health, Safety, and Environment, aligned with local legal requirements, company policies, and client expectations. Develop training plans and proposals (programs, courses, workshops) in Health, Safety, and Environment, managing allocated budgets. Implement scheduled Health, Safety, and Environment training courses according to established plans, coordinating execution dates with operational leaders without disrupting operations. Report to HSE management on the progress of Metso Perú S.A.’s and our clients’ HSE training plans, including the organization’s and clients’ HSE policy, system, programs, standards, and procedures. Review and/or develop necessary documentation and course content for Health, Safety, and Environment training, tailored to specific tasks and/or services performed. Submit attendance lists for each delivered course to the person responsible for reporting training man-hours. Develop action plans to ensure coverage of required Health, Safety, and Environment training for work teams; implement and monitor corrective and/or preventive actions arising from HSE findings (non-conformities and observations). Collect substandard acts and conditions within the company’s HSE system to identify potential new training needs or improvements to existing training. Train the area’s HSE Supervisors to deliver Health, Safety, and Environment training courses, ensuring nationwide coverage for simultaneous services. Other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor, consistent with your position. Who We Are Looking For Professional university degree and professional license in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Trainer certification courses. Five (5) years of work experience in occupational safety-related functions. Certification to deliver training courses or proof of prior course delivery.
