Compliance with safety regulations and procedures **Job Opening: Multiple Operator – Paita** **Company:** UNIMAR S.A. **Job Mission** Operate container handling machinery to manipulate containers efficiently, with the objective of transporting them safely and according to the requirements of internal or external customers, thereby delivering service satisfaction. **Job Requirements** **Academic Qualifications:** * Minimum: Completed secondary education and certification in Container Handler Operation. * Preferred: Studies related to Automotive Mechanics, Automotive Electricity, or similar fields, plus certification in Safe Forklift Operation. **Experience:** * Minimum: 6 months in similar or related positions, and possession of a Class A1 driver's license. * Preferred: 1 year in similar or related positions, and possession of a Class A2 driver's license. **Knowledge:** * Good warehousing practices. * Handling of special cargo. **General Competencies:** * Safety awareness. * Focus on achieving objectives. * Teamwork. **Specific Competencies:** * Work organization. * Compliance with regulations. **Main Responsibilities** * Correctly operate forklifts and/or container handlers in accordance with established procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency in equipment handling. * Inspect and maintain assigned equipment (forklifts and container handlers) before and after each daily shift to ensure proper condition and functionality. * Comply with organizational safety regulations to prevent risks during cargo handling. * Record operating hours, equipment used, and work area in the Machine Utilization Form to maintain appropriate control over equipment usage. * Immediately report any equipment malfunction to the Machinery Assistant to ensure timely response and avoid operational interruptions. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor to support departmental needs.
