Position Summary: We are seeking a Workshop Manager with training in carpentry, metal mechanics, industrial design, or engineering to coordinate, supervise, and optimize projects, teams, and processes in the workshop. Process optimization and assurance of quality and safety At **PUBLICITARQ**, we are looking for a Workshop Manager **REQUIREMENTS:** * **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS**: Technical or professional education in carpentry, metal mechanics, industrial design, engineering, or related fields. * **SPECIALIZATION**: Carpentry, metal mechanics, construction processes, and finishes. * **DEGREE**: Technician, Bachelor's, or Licentiate degree in related fields. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\. Coordinate and supervise projects in carpentry, metal mechanics, vinyl, acrylic, and electrical processes. 2\. Ensure all projects are executed according to drawings, specifications, and established quality standards. 3\. Analyze and interpret technical drawings and sketches to define project specifications and requirements. 4\. Perform material take-offs for each project and prepare detailed lists for procurement. 5\. Ensure proper planning and utilization of resources. 6\. Supervise and direct the workshop team, including operators, assistants, and other professionals. 7\. Delegate tasks, provide ongoing training and support, and evaluate staff performance. 8\. Manage inventory of materials and tools, ensuring their availability and proper storage. 9\. Implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource usage. 10\. Supervise painting, finishing, and assembly processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. 11\. Ensure finished products meet customer specifications. 12\. Apply measurement techniques to calculate the exact quantity of required materials. 13\. Develop and maintain a detailed schedule for ongoing projects. 14\. Ensure adherence to established deadlines and optimize production timelines. 15\. Identify and address problems or incidents in construction processes. 16\. Implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure production continuity. 17\. Ensure all workshop activities comply with occupational safety regulations. 18\. Promote and maintain a safe working environment by providing appropriate personal protective equipment. 19\. Maintain smooth communication with other departments, such as design, sales, and logistics. 20\. Coordinate project execution and resolve any issues that may arise. 21\. Propose and implement improvements to workshop processes and procedures to optimize resources, increase efficiency, and enhance work quality.
