Job Summary: Coordinate, supervise, and optimize the maintenance of heavy-duty vehicle fleets, lead a technical team, and ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical problems PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY **Seeking a WORKSHOP MANAGER with experience** SALARY: S/2500 TO S/2800 **Graduates in Automotive Mechanics or related fields** **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy-duty vehicle fleets. * Manage and lead the team of mechanical technicians. * Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems in engines, transmissions, and other systems. * Optimize the use of spare parts and materials to ensure operational efficiency. * Implement and improve maintenance processes to reduce downtime. * Ensure compliance with workshop safety regulations and protocols. **Key Competencies:** ✅ Experience in automotive mechanics (engines, gearboxes, transmission systems, brakes, and suspension). ✅ Ability to evaluate technicians’ work and correct advanced mechanical failures. ✅ Preventive and corrective maintenance of buses and heavy machinery. ✅ Workshop management and maintenance logistics. ✅ Knowledge of bus painting, including surface preparation and finish application. ✅ Vehicle electrical systems expertise, covering ignition, lighting, and wiring.
