Job Summary: Perform welding, fabrication, and assembly of structures and piping for the installation of stationary plants, ensuring quality and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of blueprint reading and welding standards Job Objective Perform welding, fabrication, repair, and assembly of metal structures, piping, and mechanical components during the installation and commissioning of stationary plants, ensuring weld joint quality and compliance with company-established safety standards. Requirements * Certified Welder or graduate of related technical programs. * **Valid 3G and 4G certification (mandatory).** * Experience in structural welding and installation of industrial plants or mining projects. * Knowledge of SMAW and GTAW (TIG) welding processes (MIG/MAG desirable). * Experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures. * Knowledge of reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, isometric drawings, and welding symbols. * Proficiency in using electric tools and oxy-cutting equipment. * Familiarity with AWS standards, WPS procedures, and welding quality control. * Knowledge of hot work permits, PETS, IPERC, and safety procedures. * Availability to work under a 20x10 schedule on a mining project. Key Responsibilities * Perform welding tasks during the assembly and installation of stationary plants. * Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, supports, and mechanical components. * Weld piping, structures, and equipment according to drawings and technical specifications. * Prepare materials, tools, and equipment prior to commencing activities. * Perform oxy-cutting and bevel preparation tasks. * Execute high-quality welds in accordance with established procedures (WPS). * Visually inspect weld joint quality prior to release. * Participate in the assembly of mechanical equipment and metal structures at the plant. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Strictly comply with hot work safety procedures. * Promptly report any unsafe conditions, deviations, or failures detected during task execution.
