Manages import, export, and various customs regime shipments in collaboration with multiple logistics operators. Ensures fulfillment of release and delivery requirements at the customer’s premises. Logs incidents in SINTAD. Reports and digitizes shipment-related incidents (e.g., pre-clearance). Manages third-party payments and prepares documents for billing and archiving. **Responsibilities:** * Receive and review documentation required to initiate customs clearance. * Verify completeness of documentation and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. * Enter information into internal systems and update the status of assigned import or export operations. * Track shipments through to completion for routine operations. * Coordinate with customers, warehouses, carriers, and other internal departments to ensure operational continuity. * Support customs-related procedures before authorities when required. * Maintain an organized digital archive of customs clearance services. * Provide updates on the status of invoices linked to performed operations. * Assist in responding to document-related requests associated with customs clearance. * Report incidents or delays that may impact operational progress. * Perform all other duties inherent to this position. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Customs or Customs Assistant certification; must hold a valid customs certification. * Valid Customs Assistant ID card. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in customs agency operations. * Knowledge of the General Customs Law and its Regulations. * Familiarity with tariff classification, taxation, and customs valuation. * Knowledge of the penalty schedule for violations of the General Customs Law; understanding of anti-dumping or countervailing duties. * In-depth knowledge of managing, processing, and administering import and export customs clearances—including temporary and suspended regimes—and familiarity with procedures such as customs examination, physical inspection, SENASA, INRENA, entry, etc. * Proficiency in the SINTAD customs software. **Additional Details:** * Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM\-6:30 PM; Saturday 9:30 AM–12:00 PM * Grade: 002 * Work Mode: On-site * Employment Type: Indefinite-term contract * Willingness to work at Lima Cargo City Building, Av.
