Job Summary: Accounting professional responsible for executing the accounting cycle, supervising journal entries, performing monthly closings, ensuring tax compliance, preparing payroll, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the monthly closing process and ensure reliable financial reporting. 2. Implement and monitor internal accounting controls. 3. Transform accounting information into alerts and insights for decision-making. **Responsibilities:** · Ensure accurate execution of the monthly accounting cycle, including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, fixed assets, and depreciation, in accordance with IFRS and current regulations. · Supervise and validate journal entries prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance. · Lead the monthly closing process to deliver reliable financial reports to Management and the Board of Directors within corporate deadlines. · Ensure correct calculation and filing of VAT (IGV), income tax, withholding taxes (detracciones), advance payments (percepciones), retention taxes (retenciones), and related obligations. · Supervise compliance with formal obligations before SUNAT and other regulatory authorities. · Prepare and process the monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with current labor and tax regulations. · Implement, strengthen, and monitor internal accounting controls to ensure traceability and minimize risks. · Analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable. · Respond promptly and substantively to internal and external audit requests. · Control the accounting records for the 10,000 operational laptops, considering leasing arrangements, depreciation, and residual value. · Prepare financial analyses, variance reports, and special reports for the Administration and Finance Management and the Board of Directors. · Convert accounting information into early warnings, trends, insights, and risk assessments to improve decision-making. · Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the Administration and Finance Management, provided they fall within the scope of the incumbent's competencies and responsibilities.
