Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Supervisor for the Projects Department, responsible for developing and monitoring calibration programs, inspecting products, and coordinating with customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leads quality supervision and control in projects and construction works. 2. Ensures compliance with technical standards and customer requirements. 3. Collaborates with customers and suppliers on quality control matters. We are EMEMSA!! We are currently seeking top talent to fill the position of Quality Supervisor within our Projects Department. FUNCTIONS: Develops and monitors compliance with the Calibration and Verification Program for measuring equipment. Supervises the proper verification and recording of measuring instruments using traceable standards. Tracks and reviews instruments sent for external calibration; receives and classifies calibration certificates. Maintains order and cleanliness in work areas. Reports all quality- and safety-related incidents to the immediate supervisor. Approves the transfer of finished products to the warehouse. Applies appropriate inspection methods for raw materials, work-in-process, or finished products, ensuring compliance with technical requirements specified by the customer, drawings, and/or technical specifications. Assigns personnel under supervision to conduct inspections of raw materials, processes, and finished products. Verifies records of non-conforming products, inspections of outsourced products or services, and returned products. Supervises compliance with requirements established in product drawings and technical specifications. Coordinates with customers or suppliers on matters related to quality control. Coordinates product release approvals with external customers. Supervises correct completion of forms. Where applicable, prepares quality control-related documents upon customer request and submits them to the Quality Control Manager for review. Supervises adherence to procedures approved by the Quality Control Manager. Coordinates product release approvals with customers at the workshop. Prepares the Quality Dossier per project. Develops welding procedures. Supervises third-party work performed on-site, where applicable. Supervises quality control at site (mine). Develops non-destructive testing procedures. Prepares quality plans and inspection point plans.
