Job Summary: We are seeking a Server Administrator to manage Microsoft and Linux platforms, cloud infrastructure, and ensure the proper functioning of services. Key Responsibilities: 1. Microsoft and Linux server administration 2. Cloud infrastructure management (Azure, OCI, MS365) 3. Virtualization software configuration and management We are looking for a Server Administrator – Chorrillos **Employment Type:** Temporary \| Receipt for Professional Services (RxH). Administer servers based on Microsoft and Linux platforms using PowerShell scripts, maintaining an up-to-date inventory. Manage cloud infrastructure, including access control, user management, and storage in Azure, OCI, and MS365\. Administer network load balancers within the cloud infrastructure. Manage application deployments to production environments based on Docker, Kubernetes clusters, DevOps, Nginx, and IIS. Monitor daily resource usage of servers (CPU, memory, and storage space), ensuring proper server operation. Verify daily functionality of Active Directory, EntraID, and OCI SSO services to guarantee appropriate access to the institutional network. Ensure correct execution of server backups, database backups, and site replication (OCI) across the cloud infrastructure. Configure and manage on-premises and off-premises virtualization software. Review event logs on each server and take preventive and corrective actions. Develop procedures and manuals for server management. Requirements **Requirements:** Completed technical studies, or graduated, bachelor’s degree, or university professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network and Communications Engineering, or related fields. **Required Knowledge in:** Server administration (Windows Server and/or Linux). Technology infrastructure management and support. Proof or certification in IT Service Management (ITIL). **Desirable Knowledge in:** Virtualization platforms. Cloud environment infrastructure. Cybersecurity applied to infrastructure. Basic automation and scripting. IT project management (PMBOK and/or agile methodologies).
