




Job Summary: The Foundry Laboratory Intern provides operational and technical support in sampling, chemical analysis, and process control to ensure quality standards and efficiency. Analysis of rejection causes and proposals for corrective actions The Foundry Laboratory Intern provides operational and technical support to the Plant Manager and the Quality Control Supervisor in sampling, chemical analysis, and in-plant process control, ensuring that results comply with established production, quality, safety, and efficiency standards. **Requirements:** * Final-year student or bachelor's degree holder in Metallurgical Technology. * Six months of experience in foundries or metallurgical processes. (Non-exclusive) * Basic knowledge of steel, iron, and non-ferrous alloy casting processes. * Proficiency in operating metallurgical laboratory equipment (spectrometer, analytical balance, muffle furnace, sand testing equipment). * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in sampling and chemical analysis of melts using laboratory equipment such as spectrometer, analytical balance, and muffle furnace. * Validate that chemical results fall within established technical specifications. * Verify availability of patterns, consumables, and technical sheets for production processes. * Coordinate and monitor quality controls during manufacturing, promoting continuous improvement. * Control efficient usage of raw materials, additives, and process consumables. * Analyze causes of rejections and non-conformities, proposing corrective actions with follow-up. * Assist in preparing technical reports and management indicators (efficiency, rejections, metallurgical yield, etc.). * Comply with and promote occupational health and safety and environmental standards. **We Offer:** * Full payroll registration from day one. * Bonus payments, CTS (Compensatory Time Savings), vacation pay, and profit-sharing. * Health insurance, accident insurance, and life insurance. * Opportunities for professional development within the plant.
